Our Gatherings
Take your time. Get to know us.
Intentional. Spacious. Thoughtful. Authentic. These words are often used to describe Southpoint. We cultivate rhythms that bring us together and connect us to our core images and core practices. Newcomers are warmly welcomed to try out our rhythms with us.
Our Sunday Gatherings
Come as you are. Be open.
For many busy households, Sunday morning is the primary touch point with our community. Therefore, we make the most of our time together on Sundays! Our rhythms of worship are intentionally diverse, designed with care to deepen our kinship with God, each other, and creation. Please note that sometimes we meet off site. Check our website or sign up for our weekly newsletter for up to date information.
First, Second & Third Sundays
Our most “traditional” gatherings! After a kid’s talk, children under 13 go to their groups. Youth 13+ have separate conversations on certain Sundays throughout the year. Children return after the sermon for communion. We have an “open table”—everyone is welcome, including children.

All IN/All OUT
We highly value children and welcome them just as they are. Our intergenerational services occur on the 4th Sunday of the month, either within the building (All IN) or off site (All OUT). These creative, experiential gatherings are well suited to the curious minds and busy bodies of children while still offering engagement for adults. It takes creativity to plan, but it’s worth it!

5th Sunday Brunches
On fifth Sundays, we break into smaller groups and have brunch in each other’s homes. This is a good way to get to know people. SIgn up for brunches happens through our weekly newsletter.

Kids and Youth
We nurture connection for our kids and youth: with each other, with trusted adults, with God, with land and Neighbourhood.
Kids and teens are vital, vibrant members of our community. On Sundays, we make space for kids under 13 to connect and play with each other, learn stories of Jesus, and become familiar with the wider arc of the Bible.
Those in grades 5-12 are invited to participate in bi-monthly gatherings—a mix of small group times connecting around a meal in a family home; service projects; and all sorts of play! Currently, youth split into a younger (gr. 5-7) and older (gr. 8-12) group. There are also connection points for youth during Sunday worship. Madison, our Community Life Coordinator, loves finding ways to connect informally with families and youth as well!
